Male Pose

Created in my life drawing class. The assignment was to draw a male model from a photograph given to us by the professor. I sketched it from geometric shapes and developed it into the current figure. With a kneaded eraser, I added highlights and dramatic shadows with charcoal to give dimension to the figure. I sporadically rubbed the kneaded eraser around the background to give the feeling of a rough textured wall behind the figure.
