Portrait Styles

Created in my portfolio art class. One of my school assignments was to create a self-portrait. I hand-drew the original in my sketchbook from sitting in my room in front of my mirrored closet doors. This piece came to life when I decided to redraw it digitally and began experimenting with all the different color thumbnail ideas and available textures in Illustrator. I could not decide which combinations to use, so I used them all. This project helped me to grow and further develop my creative skills while trying to capture the best-illustrated representation of myself.
